Sharing 35 calendars with 34 users

Greetings-

I have a request from one department for everybody to share their calendar with everybody else in their office. That's 35 calendars shared out to 34 other people. That's a lot of connections.

My question is: Is this smart? Are there inherent problems sharing calendars in this way?

Thanx

it will work but you have to realize that each user will end up with folder list /mailboxes view or 34 other users and you have to setup each users views to other mailboxes....very messy. Use public folders and place all calendars into that folder with correct rights and you are done.
eg.
[dept x]
|- user1 calendar
|- user2 calendar
etc

All the best!

Uh, its cake.

You have an everyone list right? A security or distribution list which includes everyone in the company?

Just have everyone allow the GROUP to be reviewers of thier calendar.

This is really easy to use expecially with Outlook2003.

I always thought this was kind of standard operating procedure. Least, in my organizations over the last 10 years. Everyone can see/verify everyone elses calendars (because Free/Busy Data isn't enough) which makes scheduling meetings easier.

The traffic generated isn't that bad, because people don't look at these calendars all the time all day long (maybe your admin/secretary staff) but that should be less than 10% of the users...
