Shared Variable Problem

Hi i've got a subreport sitting in details-a section of my main report. In details-b i have my shared numbervar bring through the value UWOutstanding. However when my report runs the value of UWOustanding keeps on repeating itself for the previous instance of the subreport. Is there anyway of resetting a sharedvar which sits in the details-b section of the subreport?

Insert a detail_c section and add a formula:

whileprintingrecords;
shared numbervar UWOutstanding := 0; //if it is a number

This assumes that you want the sub to execute for each detail. If you really only want it to execute once per some group, put it in a group section.
