We have a Windows 98 system which shares an Officejet K-series printer/fax machine with another Windows 98 system. The printer works fine for its host system, but the shared user cannot print. The reason is that an old print job with blank status is unresolved.
Have tried removing the printer from both systems, rebooting both and then adding printer back. As soon as its added to the second system - the print job shows up in the queue again, and no printing works. No error messages are generated anywhere.
