My desire is to have a shared calendar for my wife and I to use. We both have separate logon account in Win 2000 Pro using the same computer. We use AOL as our email so there are no email issues to wade through, at least with regard to Outlook. Is this possible?

What version of office are you using. Net folders is the way calendar is shared. Should be possible as you would both have your own .pst file if using seperate logins.

cwissy,

I am using Office 2000 (unpatched, though I may start patching, soon). I have set up a shared calendar, but something is wrong with the way I have done the mail setup, since you have to have a mail user before setting up a Net Folder. I say something is wrong because the subscription to my wife cannot be sent and is just languishing in the Outbox. I probably have the setting in the Servers tab information wrong on the incoming/outgoing information. Any help on that would be appreciated. Perhaps Outlook cannot support the interface with AOL.

Surely someone at Microsoft who has a computer at home has faced this issue, but then again they are probably using MSN and not AOL.... sigh

Have you sent the message, I find sometimes if you change settings in Outlook you have to set up the message again before it will go. Are you sure you have the correct e-mail address? I would unsubscribe and then subscribe again.
Let me know, sorry been off sick
