Hi,

I have an Aplication in FoxPro 2.6 for DOS in one PC (Project, menus, programs, etc) and I have all my Dbf's in Exclusive mode.

Do you know if I can use a Shared mode with this Dbf's?

I only need to access same Dbf at the same time (Multi-user)

Any tip that you let me know I will appreciate it

Thanks

MR

I've had FP 2.6 applications running is shared mode for several years. You need to set exclusive off and I'd recommend you study up on table and or record locking. Check the help file or the program documentation books.

I've been distributing FP 2.6 applications for 10 yrs using shared databases. Turn EXCLUSIVE OFF or use the databases SHARED. FoxPro will do automatic record locks but it is advisable to implement your own record locking if you are doing a multiuser data entry and update application.

The help file on USE will give you the syntax.
