I have an Exchange 2000 server with shared contacts in the public folder. Most of the names in the list are are employees and thus have entries in Active Directory. The email address field in the contacts list resolves to the name in AD so it displays only the emaployee name.
When I exported the contacts to a .pst file everything seemed fine. However after importing to a standalone PC and creating a contacts list, the email addresses did not come across, only the names did. I believe it must be because the addresses resolved to the names in AD and diplayed only the names.
How can I export the contacts list from the Exchange server and maintain the email addresses?
