Hi
I read there was a way of sharing calendars on Outlook 2000 but the same instructions don't seem to apply to Outlook XP.
Is there a way I can share users calendars on a network without using Exchange server?

Thanks in advance
Chris

In outlook, make sure you see the FOLDER LIST

If you do not, go to View > Folder List

Look for Outlook Today - (mailbox name) and RIGHT CLICK
On the menu choose Properties for Outlook Today.

Go to the PERMISSIONS TAB and click ADD, once the person is added, go to the bottom Permissions Level drop down and select EDITOR if you want them to be able to edit and make changes, REVIEWER if you just want them to "SEE" it.

Click APPLY
then OK.

Once this is done on the PARENT folder, then go to the subfolders you want to share.... in this case Calendar

Right click on Calendar
Choose Properties
Permissions
Add the person
Set the Permission Level
Apply
Ok

==================
On the user's PC, if they are using XP,
Right click on their OUTLOOK TODAY
Choose PROPERTIES

On the lower Right click ADVANCED
Select the ADVANCED TAB
Click ADD
Type in the Mailbox name and APPLY / OK

Now on the other person's PC they will have a Mailbox - Yourname and will have access to any subfolders you granted.
