Shadow Copies wont schedule start

Hello,

I have setup shadow copies on a couple of volumes. When I enable the shadow copy function on these volumes it runs and completes. But when I try to schedule it, the service wont run at its scheduled time.

I checked Scheduled Tasks, and the status is "Failed To Start". It keep on rescheduling itself for the next day.

I tried accessing the properties of these scheduled jobs, but recieve an error, "Some Properties not available"
I was hoping to see the security rights on the tasks.

Anyone got any ideas thanks.

Was this scheduled by Administrator? Does the Administrator account have a password?

Yes it was an admin account, and my admin account has a password.

One of my servers was acting this way also. I had to change the security for the scheduled job.

Try going to the Scheduled Tasks list and change the "Run As" to an actual admin account (instead of NT Authority/System). This fixed my scheduling problem...Im not sure what the underlying problem is though...

I tried to access the properties of the scheduled task. But I get the following error.

General Page Initialization failed
The data is invalid

An error has occured attempting to retrieve taks accont information. You may continue editing the task object, but will be be unable to change acccount information.

The scheduled tasks are setup automatically when I enable shadow copies and define a schedule. Looks like the task is corrupt somehow.

Ive tried enabling shodow copies on other volumes but get the same error.

Im stumped.
