SFC & nVidia Don't Play Well Together

These petty annoyances are killing me -

Every time I run "SFC /scannow" my nVidia Detonator Drivers (got the latest ver) reset (screen goes to 640 x 480, 16 Colors) and the drivers disappear. I have to reinstall them to return things to normal.

Anyone else have this prob and any ideas on how to fix it?
I'm thinking i gotta copy some files over the dllcache folder?
