I am tying to setup replication (merge) on my local pc to test out sql server etc.

Right clicking on Replication, I select Configure Publishing, Subscribers and Distribution.

I then get a message indicating that the system account is being used and will cause replications to fail between servers.

My question is, what should I be using? Should I create a new login under Security and have SqlAgent run under that?

Looking for any type of example or steps to take to setup the user necessary for replication between servers.

Thanks in advance.
