Hello,

I'm an IT tech from Toppan Photomasks France. I hope my english won't be too bad ;)

I'm actually looking for a setup that would activate the "missed calls history" on Siemens Gigaset DECT with PBX Meridian Option 11C.

Let me explain:
Yesterday, on two identical Siemens r630H handsets, I noticed that one had a "missed call" icon, and not the second one. Clicking on the envelope button allowed me to see the incoming phone numbers of missed calls with options to recall or delete the list...

I first tried to figure out if it was a setup on the handset itself, or if it was a setup in my PBX. I didn't find any setup in the handset.
With DECT Manager, I swapped the handsets on the two phone lines, and the calls history function followed the line, not the handset. I deducted that the setup was in the PBX.

In the TTY console, in LD20, I made a PRT of both lines to compare. Both were strictly identical.

To be sure I missed nothing, I made "OUT" on the line that missed the functionality, then I made a CPY from the one who had calls history.
But no way! Still no calls history icon.

Making my call tests, I noticed that the line which had the missed calls functionality, hadn't any mailbox while the other line had one.

I created the missing mailbox through Meridian Mail, and as soon as I created it, the missed calls functionality disappeared !
And no way to get it back, even deleting the mailbox.

I spent a lot of time in the Meridian mail menus to figure out why creating the mailbox removed the call history functionality, but without any success...

Would anybody know where I could find the setup ?

Regards,
Philippe.

These must be 500 type TN's so you would need to have CLASS capability to get calling number display on the phones. Do you have a CMOD card in the system?
Do the TN's have CNUD, CNUS or CNUA in the CLS?

Thank you for the fast answer.

They are DSC type.
