I read some where that it is possible to setup a serial modem using the setserial command. This I believe allows one to set the /dev/ttys value and allocate the I/O Port.<br>

If this is the case where can I find more information on the topic and would I need to redo the kernel.<br>

Lastly is there any other way by which I can acheive the same end but more easily.<br>
