Setting up Zend Studio with MySQL

Hi everyone,

I'm a newby working with MySQL and Zend Studio IDE. I was wondering if anyone knows how to setup Zend Studio with MySQL. Everytime I use mysql_connect instruction, it does not work. I have the MySQL monitor installed and works great under the prompt of Windows 2000. I understand with Zend Studios I don't have to install PHP therefore I only need to make Zend to be able to connect to MySQL.
