I'm trying (or should I say failing!) to set up a Linksys wireless network. I'd prefer to use Windows internal wireless networking exclusively if possible (rather than use the Linksys software).
Here's what I have:
Linksys WAP/Router 802.11b
Linksys Wireless PCI 802.11g (Win XP Home)
Linksys Wireless USB 802.11b (Win XP Pro)
Linksys Wireless PCMCIA 802.11b (Win ME on Laptop)
All 3 can see the WAP (and connect to the Internet), but I can't get any of them to see each other on the wireless network (ID is MSHOME for all 3).
I've tried changing every setting I can to no avail. I created a Home Networking disk from XP and ran it on the Win ME laptop; no luck.
Any help is appreciated!
PS - I'm thinking of reformatting the laptop w/Win XP to make the networking easier - is this a good assumption or completely unnecessary?
