Setting up permissions on roaming profile folders

I am running 2 separate sites, both Windows Server 2003, on an XP Pro network. I have set up roaming profiles for users on one network, and these are working fine.

However, on the other network, this just isn't working. They were working for a while, but then I foolishly made some necessary changes to permissions on users folders (for security reasons), and since then it hasn;t worked.

I think the problem is to do with the permissions on the folder that their 'profile' is stored, but I am positive I have the permissions set correctly (have allowed the user and 'Everyone' access, which apparantly you have to). I've clicked the box that applies the permissions to all folders and files below the 'profile' folder too.

As I said, I have set it up the same way on the first network which works fine, so I don't understand why it won't work on the second network.

This is driving me mad! Any suggestions??

Any errors in the event logs?

I have roaming profiles setup on my network and i don't give "everyone" access just admins and the user.

Have you checked share permisions?

Permissions look fine. I'm going to try deleting the profile, and letting it create the folder itself next time the users log on.
