setting up my routers

hello folks,
i just bought 4 new routers, a pix (fw) and a cisco 2924 switch. I have been in IT for almost 10 years and i do mostly management and design now.

My 4 cisco routers are

cisco 2501
cisco 2503
cisco 2502
cisco 2520

i want to connect these routers together and network them

i have my 2501 router connecting to the 2503 router via serial 0

i have connected the 2501 router to the 2520 router via AUI(ethernet connection)...these are all physical connections..

the 2501 has ios 12
the 2503 has ios 11.3
the 2520 has ios 12.2

all routers are connected physically not logically..

i have tried to conenct them and they won't ping eachother, the only success ping i get is from the 2501 and 2503 due to direct serial connection.

can someone please give me a sample setup on how to connect these routers.....

i have been struggling at this for 1 week now..

if someone can please show me how to setup my interfaces and build my routing table for these routers i would be greatful.

i setup the ip address w/ no shutdown and on my router 2520 it says...ethernet 0 is up and, line protocol is down..

Hmm, if you do desgin what is the desgin that you are trying to accomplish with these devices? With that information bring these routers up is fairly straightforward.

If you set up a routing protocol like ospf and just network statements for the ip address range for each router it should work ok for all routers .
