Hello,

I'm new to this IIS thing, and I have the SMTP available on my IIS.

I was wondering, can I configure outlook express to send and recieve emails with it? So I can send emails from the account me@mydomain.com???

Thanks.

Steven

You can configure IIS SMTP to relay mail (I assume you know the dangers of an open relay) and send with Outlook Express through it.

You cannot configure the IIS SMTP service to receive mail, because it has no knowledge of different mailboxes. For that you would need Exchange (or some other mail server product).
