Hi, I have Red Hat 8.o and I installed it with MySQL/Apache and PHP which came with it.

I have MySQL working, Apache working and PHP working, however, I don't have MySQL support for PHP. This wouldn't/shouldn't be a problem if I knew where Red Hat installs the PHP files to.

I can't locate the PHP configure file anywhere !!!!

Could someone please share some ideas with me.....

Tony

you need to install the php-mysql rpm. This should be on your cd or search for it at rpmfind.net

What's the easiest way to get it off the cd?

I'm sure I remember being able to search for it with a command..???

Thanks for the swift reply... much appriciated

I don't have the RH9 cds so I can't help you there. If you do a search for php-mysql on rpmfind.net you'll see the rpm for RH8. It's not very big. Download it then drop to a console and do
rpm -ivh nameofrpmfile.rpm
