Hello All - We have cisco call manager bus. edition.
I was just given these settings in order to set up outlook 2007 with IMAP voicemail: Incoming mail server Ip address, outgoing mail server (smtp) name, the logon info is whatever the userid is on the cisco server as well as the password, email address is based on the userid on the cisco phone server. I was not given the More Settings info found in the Outlook when adding an Internet IMAP email. Based with that and some info found online

I have tried to make it work but something is not correct. The email address is the userid on the cisco phone server and its server name shown there as well, jdoe@testnysrvr. Some of the links say to add the "Outgoing Server (SMTP) requires authentication" settings which was checked and have tried with and w/o the SSL option in the advanced tab of the Internet Email Settings, "Use the following type of encrypted connection"
Cisco SMTP server settings has the "Require Authentication From Untrusted IP Address” checked but right above that, the "Allow Connections From Untrusted Ip Addresses" is not checked, this is where I'm testing whether to use the SSL option in the Advanced Tab option of the internet email settings.
I was told that when this works, I'd see voicemail come in to a separate inbox (the imap); since after adding it, it didn’t appear in the MS Outlook client, I opened the IMAP file> open>Outlook data file but nothing comes in there.
Any help is certainly appreciated.
Thanks
