Setting up HP Linejet 1000Q for network printing.

We've got an HP Linejet 1000q printer hooked up to the network, but have only been printing to it from an old MPE system. We've been trying to get it set up to print both from Windows XP workstations and our new HP Unix system. We've tried everything it seems, but we can't quite get it. From the XP systems, we can't seem to find the right driver for it, and from the Unix box, we get it to print corectly, but the printer hangs afterwards and we need to reset it.

Any ideas are appreciated
