Setting up HP for redundant/backup routers 1

All routers have a Frame Relay Connection and an ISDN link for when the frame falls over. I need both interfaces to be managed but because the ISDN link is down (ie not in use), openview believes the router is down.
I need some type of option where if the interface is down HP has a green icon but when the isdn kicks in the icons change to red and sends out alarms.
Any idea would be appreciated.
