I am currently running Windows XP and Windows 2000. I'd like to replace Win 2000 with Win 98. Are there any issues I should have in mind while replacing Win 2000? I wouldn't like my pc to get messed up. :)

Win98 will have to be on the Primary System partition. Also, you'll need to boot from the WinXP cd afterwards to rebuild the boot sector on the hard drive. This boot sector will have to be modified so that WinXP can be seen (creating boot.ini file, rewriting boot sector, etc). As soon as you install Win98, you won't be able to access WinXP until this is done.

All in all, it can be a lot of work. You be the judge!

Just as a side note...

There are other ways to setup the dual-boot in your situation. However, you would most likely have to use a 3rd party app like BootMagic to manage it.

Just thought you might want to know that there are other options...
