Hi

What i would like to do is set up a DNS server on the internet so i can change my clients records EG. MX and a record.

has anyone got any good information on how to set this up

I have lots of client but changing/adding there records can take up lots of time and ISP help desk can be a pain trying to get to the right person

I understand i need to move the record to my control but after that ISP start to become un helpful

thanxs

You need to buy a third party DIY DNS service, you then move your domains over to the providors service and you wil have full controll of your DNS - - diy dns
