I would suggest you do that with a DSL router.

How shall i go abt putting a DMZ into place?

well you will need to setup the computer that you want to be able to access from the internet with a static IP address and then you go into the configuration of the router and the configure the DMZ to the IP address that you want. Please note that the system on the DMZ will not be protected by the firewall unless you can configure the filtering for the DMZ as well. Well that is how it is with most home network routers.
