setting up cold fusion server 4.5

Hi all,
Im setting up the cold fusion server on my laptop so i can work everywhere . When i go to the administration page login the browser says it cannot access the page and gives me the choice to try again or work offline - either choice will bring up the admin page. My real trouble is when i go to ODBC to create a DSN. When I click on "add" the page comes up looking strange (with some of the code showing on the page) and a windows popup appears saying
"Internet explorer cannot open the internet site

http://127.0.0.1/CFIDE/Administrator/datasources/editdsinfo.cfm.

The download of the specified resource has failed."

Any ideas? The laptop im using is offline and is running personal web server.

When you first go to

http://127.0.0.1/cfide/administrator/index.cfm,

try changing the 127.0.0.1 to the machine name (or computer name). Get the machine name by right-clicking on Network Neighborhood and looking on the identity tab. At home, I have bookmarked

http://jhoarty/cfide/administrator/index.cfm

for the same reason. You may also try "localhost". John Hoarty

thanks JHoarty but no good. Same problem when i hit "add" at ODBC
