I am trying to set up my own certificate in IIS 6.0, running on Windows Server 2003. I have certificate services installed. the problem is, when I go Directory Services and click the 'Certificate Services' button, (under 'Secure Communications), nothing happens. The button isn't greyed out, it just clicks, and nothing happens (the same happens with the Edit button). I wonder if there is an error in the installation, as when I do the same on another server I am running, the button works fine, and opens the relevant box.

I'm stuck!( Any help would be greatly appreciated

did you add the user who is logged in as an administrator on that box, some software requires you to be an administrator. hope this helps.

I am logged on as administrator on the server. Do you mean there are some access rights I need to set somewhere?

Thanks

I'm guessing that this is an error with the installation, as no-one in the world seems to have had the same problem as me. It's very frustrating, and I don;t really want to have to reinstall IIS. :(
