I want to set the datetime format of the server. I tried using SET DATEFORMAT, but it only worked in the current session.
Is it possible to change the default datetime format of the server?

Thanks.

The datetime format is pulled through the Collation Setting on the server. You can set it on a database using the alter database command. Changing it on the server requires a reinstall I believe.

Thanks. I'll reinstall SQL Server.
