Hi there,
I've created a simple "while you were out" type message form (called MessageLog) in Outlook, and setup an Exchange public folder to keep copies of any messages sent.
It's working fine except I can't force the form to be the default one for the folder. Selecting the folder and clicking "new" just opens the normal discussion form. I've set "MessageLog" as the only one associated in the folder properties - forms tab. But if I try to set the "When Posting To This Folder, use" pull down to MessageLog I get the error "You cannot create an item of this type in this folder".
Is there a way to set MessageLog as the default form for the folder? Or, better still, add MessageLog to the File New menu or a toolbar button? The users just won't bother with it if it's not easy to use, and we'll carry on drowning under Post-It notes!
TIA.
