I work on a small school here in Brazil and we renamed the Guest account on our Win2k workstations to "Student". The problem is that we want to define certain registry values as a default for the account, wich Win2k doesn't let us configure, since all registry settings seem to get lost at logoff.

How can I set the registry values for Guest?

Would someone recomend me to just create another restricted account besides guest?, or is guest sufficient?

Any help is greatelly appreciated.
(Sorry for any typos!)

you can log with the administartor Account , and add the guest account to administrators group.
then log off with the guest account , and use regedit to change the current user registry keys ,,
then log off to administartor account again ,, and remove the guest from the admin. group..

have a try .. Mohamed Farid
