Setting permissions 1

Hi,

I have win XP pro on 2 machines that have unique names and are in the same workgroup.

When I goto share a folder it only gives me the option to share it and allow users to access it.

I do not have the options for setting permissions.

Any ideas why this is.

Is there something else I need to install or uninstall.

Have you unchecked the box use simple file sharing in control panel/tools/folder options/view/?

Are you using NTFS filestore (FAT32 doesn't have security options).
