Setting Outgoing ANI

I have one trunk group type tie with one provider and the rest with another provider. This one provider is asking me to setup Outgoing ANI, because they need to get called party info...

I don't really know how to set that up and most important I don't want to mess the other trunks...

Is there a way to set this up for one trunk group only? or well... how do you set up the system to send ANI...???

I've gone through the documentation but I'm not sure what would be the consequences of changing the system-parameters multifrequency-signaling settings...

I'm not sure if this will help you or not, but here's what I did to send ANI over our ISDN-PRI trunk for DID numbers.

Go into "change isdn public-unknown-numbering". It will look like this for the first five fields:

Ext Len / Ext Code / Trk Grp / CPN Prefix / CPN Len

The values I used for the fields above are:

4 / 2 / 1 / 813825 / 10

In my case, extensions are 4 digits and all start with 2. Our ISDN-PRI is trunk group 1, and 813-825 is our NPA/NXX and we send 10 digits.

This is especially fun if you want to spoof your ANI, but I don't advise doing so

Yeah you have to be careful. I tried this with EC 500 to cell phones, so internal locals would display on the cell. It had the effect of blocking outgoing toll calls on the switch. Still not 100% sure why. I guess the network didn't like like it. I guess the point is, after you do it, make sure you can make normal outgoing & toll calls OK.
