I'd like to ask if there's a way to set a range of ports for an IP phone to use as its set-end IP signaling port or is it just random?

CALL CONTROL SIGNALING

Port: S04984
Switch IP IP
Port Switch-end IP Addr:port Set-end IP Addr:port
IP Signaling: 29A0417 10. 20.212. 29 :1720 10. 14.204. 12:4122
H.245:
Node Name: clan29
Network Region: 50 50

Shared Port:
Switch IP IP
Port Switch-end IP Addr:port Set-end IP Addr:port
IP Signaling:
H.245:
Node Name:
Network Region:

Yes, its right on the "change ip-network-region x" form.

MEDIA Parameters
Codec Set: x
UDP Port Min: 2048
UDP Port Max: 3329

These are the defaults, you can change them.

Just noticed you said TCP Signalling ports (my post above was for UDP Audio).

On page 2 of the "change ip-network-region x", bottom of the page (at least it is on CM 4.0.1:

Near End TCP Port Min: 61440
Near Enf TCP Port Max: 61444

Mitch

Thanks Mitch/phoneguy! No wonder I haven't seen that option before since we're still running on CM 3.1.2.
