Setting IP address on win2k 1

I need to be able to set the IP address on a win2k professional machine through code without having to reboot the machine.
I could tweak the registry and reboot, but thats not acceptable.
Any ideas ?

Not sure about the code but 2K doesn't require a reboot when changing the IP address.
