Hi

I have got a SunFire V120 with a Sun HSIP card in it. I have written a script in /etc/rc3.d to set the X25 network speed on the card to 19.2kb. Although the script runs during the boot cycle, when the machine gets to the "System is Ready" message and the login prompt the speed has been reset to 1.5mb.

There are no other scripts in /etc/rc3.d that run after mine, how do I set the speed and get the machine to keep it?

Thanks

Steve

Maybe the X.25 drivers take a while to load or something? Try putting a long (2-5 minutes) sleep in your script perhaps?
