setting a password for visual voice?

is there any way to set a password verification before using visual voicemail on a handset? i like the setup but dont like the fact that any user can go to any handset and listen to one's voicemail without password authentication. i am currently running v4.0.

Try ripping out the VEXT from the users source tab.

the only way to do it is delet the source number VXXX from the user tab. XXX being the extension number.

The ip office treats the Vnumber as a trusted source and therefore wont request a pw.

in similar you can add Hxxx to allow trusted access to a Hunt Group mailbox. This also allows Visual Voice access to the HG mailbox to view messages. Although you can't change greetings here it is quite useful.
