Hi!
I am turning my brains into mush trying to figure out how to get SQL Enterprise Manager to remotely talk to my SQL 2000 server... It seems like it should be straightforward, but I can't make it work.
I am trying to use Windows authentication over TCP/IP; the FW between me and my server is wide open; ODBC connects just fine. I need to be able to lock down the FW, though; I will have third-party developers trying to admin their own DB's. MS's site is less than helpful. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!
