I have reason to set up a VPN within our internal network. I transport our internal network to 6 communications tower sites via Motorola Canopy to one site and 2xT1 microwave to the others. I would like to provide internet to customers that may be near these tower sites in remote locations. I would like to separate our network so it is not accessible by our customers (but we will still use the same pipe to each site).

I have set up 2 D-Link DI-804HV boxes as my VPN endpoints. Currently I have them running on my bench cabled back-2back with a working Tunnel open. I am having a few problems though.

Here is my current setup:

internet <--> DI-707P <--> DI-804HV <--> DI-804HV <--> XP Pro Laptop

From the 707 I also have other PC's and addressable hardware as well as another 707 with our accouting network behind it.

I will call the first 804 VPN 1, and the second VPN 2.

707 - LAN 192.168.2.254
255.255.255.0

VPN 1 - LAN 192.168.2.230 WAN 192.168.4.232
255.255.255.0 255.255.255.0
GTWY 0.0.0.0

VPN 2 - LAN 192.168.3.1 WAN 192.168.4.231
255.255.255.0 255.255.255.0
GTWY 192.168.4.232

Laptop - 192.168.3.120
255.255.255.0
GTWY 192.168.3.1

Correct DNS addresses in Laptop, both 804's as well as 707.

I am able to ping the 707 router as well as access it's configuration so I know the tunnel is working. I can ping some, but not all of my other devices on my network. I can ping devices in the 2.220 range but nothing else, except the 2.254 707. I also cannot browse the internet. I thought perhaps a problem with DNS but I cannot ping through the 707 to internet IP's.

I hope this is enough info for someone to help me.

Any help is greatly apprecited. If more info will help I can provide. Thanks.

Aaron
