I wrote a report at home for a client that pulls data from a MS Access query and a couple of btrieve files. I am connecting natively to both, not using ODBC.

When I set location of these files to mach the client's drive mappings, Crystal v8.5 thinks that all 3 tables are btrieve tables. I get a btrieve error and I cannot make the report work.

I finally rewrote the report from scratch, on their network connection, and everything is OK.

Has anyone ever experienced this and is there an easier way to fix this?

Hi
It's better to have odbc connection as a Systems DSN
you just create the dsn on the clinet machine and just point your report to this odbc.

cheers
