Set Lana Numbers 1

How do I set Lana numbers in Windows 7?
I have done it in all the other Windows versions for a paticular software I work with. I have to get the NIC set to 0.

From what I have read from doing a google search, NetBEUI is not supported in windows 7. Also, from what I am reading LANA numbers can NOT be configured. Have a look here:

Any clues in this, it talks about a lanacfg.exe utility that might work under certain circumstances such as launching it via the "Run As Administrator" right-click option?

Yea, I saw that web site, and was lead to believe that there was someway to manipulate it but can't figure it out. I may have to wait for the software company to deploy a new version or a fix if there isn't a way to do it.

Lanacfg in win 7 - disable UAC and go to a command prompt as an administrator. Works fine.
