Set home folder to network path by default

In a Win 2K active directory domain, is there a way to have new domain user's home directory default to a network path as they are added to the domain?

ex. in AD domain this.here.domain, I add that.user:
Upon creation of that.user's account, his/her home folder would default to \\someserver\homefolders\that.user, instead of some folder in C:\Documents and Settings on the local box.

Been wading through the threads for a while on this, and have not found the exact solution. I've found lots of instances where it says to check the radio button and fill in the path on the user's profile tab AFTER the account was created, but nothing to make this "automatic" upon account creation.

I'm probably missing something obvious here -- but after enough stumbling about in the forest, it gets harder to find the right tree (puns not intended, unless you want them to be.)

TIA to all . . .

Only way I know is to have a "default" user account and perform a copy of it.

When I say default, you can use either a general dummy account or an account you know that when created used \\SERVERNAME\USERS\%username% for the folder path.

Upon copy it will use that path to create their folder.
