Hi Again,
I was wondering how to set a default baudrate. It would be great to set it using automation but when I try "set port baudrate BRATE" where BRATE is anything other than 115200, I get an error message at the bottom of ProComm saying "Unable to set communication state". I tried this with automation as well as manually by changing the baudrate by clicking on the baudrate box at the bottom of the terminal and changing it. I also tried changing it in the Options -> Modem Connection -> Modem/Connection Properties Menu and still the same result. The device that's connected to the port is set at 57600 and can be set to any of the ProComm supported baudrates. I changed the device's baudrate in a hyperterminal but in order to communicate with it in ProComm, ProComm needs to be operating at the same baudrate. Any help and an example would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Are you communicating with a modem or another piece of hardware? If it's not a modem, are you using a direct connection in Procomm? Is Hyperterminal able to talk to it at 57600?
