In regards to session variables, how many is too many. I have an application, and would love to use 20 - 30, but I'm not sure how Coldfusion will handle this in actual practice... as in if there are 100 people on the site at once, will the system get bogged down?

i believe there is no limit in terms of maximum amount of session variables you can set. however, you may perhaps try to scope your variables in a better fashion. for example, does every user need 20-30 session variables? can't some of them be in like request, cookie, client?
