Hi, bit of a strange one this... maybe to do with Virtual Directories.

I'm using a session variable to store a connection string to be used universally.

When I move to another section - via the virtual directory - it appears to lose all the session variables. If I then move back to the original page it finds them all.

Is this due to Virtual Directories, and if so where can I find a big stick to beat Microsoft with as this is stupid!

Quick additional...

The Root of the main is /qwe and I have an directory for the includes called /qweincludes, however /qweincludes is at the root level next to qwe, not beneath it...

I'm going to experiment with this...
But if you know for sure whack it up!

Fixed it.

Session variables do not pass between root levels.
If you put your include virtual directory beneath the root level though it works quite happily.
