I am trying to connect to the services port on a S8300, with all the usual settings.
When I browse to 192.11.13.6 I am redirected to another IP address, I get the login prompt, but my credentials don't work.
I can browse to the S8300 from the customer network and I can see a static route that I am unable to remove.
Any ideas?

Thanks
Alan

So what address do you get forwarded to ? Can you ssh to CDOM of the s8300 as you can turn off ipforwarding , but first i would be interested to know what you actually hit , can you ssh to 192.11.13.6

Not that they mean a thing anymore , get a brain dump pass the test crash the system.

Are you static to 192.11.13.5 255.255.255.252 on your lan connection

Apologies, I was in training yesterday.
Yes, my LAN connection was using 192.11.13.5 255.255.255.252
I get forwarded to an IP address on the customer's network.
I have asked for remote access to the site, I will turn off IP forwarding and get back to you.
Many thanks.

Can you give me the CLI command to turn off IP forwarding?
Thanks

The below link is the platform admin doc page 42 talks about static routes , the ipforwarding however needs to be enabled to access virtual machines (disregard my comment about turning off ipforwarding apologies i meant static routes , but check forwarding is actually on as that could be your issue).

Is this a new install or reconfigure as this should not be happening.

have a look at the below link on static routes

The commands to effect ipforwarding are below.

Enabling IP forwarding to access System Platform through the
services port
About this task
To gain access to virtual machines on System Platform by connecting a laptop to the services
port, you must enable IP forwarding on System Domain (Domain-0). Enable IP forwarding to
gain access to both SSH and Web Console.
You can set the IP forwarding status to enabled or disabled during System Platform installation.
The system enables IP forwarding by default. To enable or disable IP forwarding, use the
following procedure.
Note:
For security reasons, always disable IP forwarding after finishing your task.
Procedure
1. To enable IP forwarding:
a. Start an SSH session.
b. Log in to System Domain (Domain-0) as administrator.
c. In the command line, type service_port_access enable and press
Enter.
2. To disable IP forwarding:
a. Start an SSH session.
b. Log in to System Domain (Domain-0) as administrator.
c. In the command line, type ip_forwarding disable and press Enter.
An alternative to the above command is service_port_access disable.
