After waiting for SBS SP1 to come out, i went to windows update and downloaded/installed the SBS SP1.
I now realise through the article that there is a sequence in which patches are meant to be implemented, it is,

1) Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1
2) Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 Service Pack 1
3) Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 1
4) Windows XP SP2 for Client Deployment
5) Windows Small Business Server 2003 Service Pack 1

I did not realise that SBS should have "Windows Server 2003 SP1" on, so I am now at the stage where i have jumped to stage five but i require Exchange SP1 installed?

Is it just a case of installing the Exchange patch or start at step 1? Has anyone been in a similar predicament?

Thanks in advance

FAM,

Can you not remove SBS SP1? Did you get these service packs using Automatic Updates, or manually?

I got it via automatic updates.
I was thinking that you couldnt uninstall it but after checking the "Add/Remove Programs" i can remove the program "Windows 2003 Service Pack 1" (29MB).
This has confused me even more as the SBS SP1 file was way over 100MB+ and this is the only Service Pack shown.

Is it worth starting at step 1 and installing them all or attempt to just install Exchange SP1?

Any more suggestions?
