I have just installed service pack 1 for Windows XP. When i went to go look for norton in the task bar it was no longer there and it now has errors in the email protection. Should i just uninstall the Service pack, or is their something that I can do?

Did you disable your virus protection prior to installing SP1? I think this is the recommended procedure.

You probably will have to uninstall SP1 and Norton. Then re-install SP1 followed by Norton. Maybe if you just uninstall SP1, Norton will correct itself. If this is the case try disabling Norton before you re-install SP1.
