Hi, we use SUS server to update all our pcs. The problem is when XP SP2 installs the firewall is automatically turned on and this blocks us from being able to ping or vnc onto the computer. Does anyone know of a way around this?

You are very welcome.

I use the .INF approach (second link in the thread I link above). What is not stated in the article is that you can throw any registry change (almost) that you feel like in the .INF

Once I modify my netfw.inf file and save it on my computer. How can I make sure sus pushes that file out to all the clients.. Where on the SUS sever do i replace this file?
