Server2003 Reports Won't Load, Internal Website Prompts Password 1

I have two problems, which may be completely unrelated, but they started occurring about the same time.

I usually access our Server2003 Small Business Server (Service Pack 1) using remote login. If I try to open internet explorer with the internal company webpage as the homepage, I always am prompted for the password (even though I am remote logged as admin). When I enter the password, I can access the internal page. If I close the browser and reopen it, I am again prompted for the password. However, if I change the default homepage to an external website, I am never prompted for the password.

The second problem I have is related to accessing performance and usage reports via server management. They just will not load, but leave me with a never-ending "Loading" message on the screen. Yet I get daily performance reports and biweekly usage reports sent to my email address.

I've defragged, scanned for viruses, checked that report services was running, but can't seem to get the reports to load.

Any ideas would be much appreciated - thanks!

As for the being asked for password.
Internet Explorer > Tools > Options > Security > Custom Level > at the bottom > User Authentication > select Automatically Logon with current username and password.

Hope this Helps.
