server set-up

Hi all,
I am setting up new network using Small Business Server 2003.
I have a switch in place. Just wondering which would be best scenario
-Will i connect uplink from Switch directly to Server and connect server to Broadband Router or just connect server directly to Switch and connect uplink on Switch to Broadband Router-Which is best option..

I always use server to switch and switch to HARDWARE FIREWALL and hardware firewall to Broadband router.
