Does anyone know if there is a way to install the server service without installing File and Print Sharing for Microsoft Networks? I know through testing that the server service is dependent on File and Print Sharing being installed. Here is the scenerio....I have created an unattended installation which removes the File and Print Sharing service in accordance with network security guidelines. A customer service representative attempted to install a piece of software which installed correctly but failed when he attempted to use the program. He was given the error message "Unable to start the application. The server service is not started." Does anyone know of any work around for this. Thanks in advance for any assistance given.
